This to me is about self expression and a whole lot of fun!!!

MORE THAN A MOTHER
When God set the world in place,
when He hung the stars up in space,
when He made the land and the sea,
then He made you and me.
He sat back and saw all that was good,
He saw things to be as they should.
Just one more blessing He had in store;
He created a mother, but whatever for?
He knew a mother would have a special place
to shine His reflection on her child's face.
A mother will walk the extra mile
just to see her children smile.
She'll work her fingers to the bone
to make a house into a home.
A mother is there to teach and guide,
a mother will stay right by your side.
She'll be there through your pain and strife,
she'll stay constant in your life.
A mother will lend a helping hand
until you have the strength to stand.
She'll pick you up when you are down,
when you need a friend she'll stick around.
A mother is one who listens well,
will keep her word; will never tell.
A mother never pokes or pries
but stands quietly by your side,
giving you the strength you need,
encouraging you to succeed.
A mother is one who can be strong
when you need someone to lean on.
You're more than a mother to me;
a reflection of Him in your face I see,
a love that knows no boundaries.
I'm glad that you chose to be
all this and more to me.
You share a love that knows no end,
you're more than my mother,
you are my friend.

Younger or Mature , long hair or short, he still is so gorgeous
always with a quick wit and also has a kind heart reaching out to help the needy. And this is part of why I really like the man !!!
Happy Easter everyone, hope you have a peaceful and happy day with friends and family. This year I will get out of cooking a big meal as we are into kitchen renovations and hopefully tomorrow I will get my last eye operation, which is nothing major except I am not able to bend over or lift heavy objects for a week or so, so that gets me out of cooking
for a gang, I might just cook for the two of us, or maybe I won't get my operation because it is yes, once again snowing heavily and I have to travel for two hours at the ungodly hour of 4 a.m. to get there, I am to be registered at 6 a.m. and operated on at 8 a.m. Usually you have to go back to his office the next morning but it being a weekend I don't know what is going to happen so maybe I can come straight home and go back on Monday or Tuesday. I just want it over with !! So I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I remember when I was a kid Easter was a time when you would get new clothes and get chocolate bunnies and usually family would come for dinner, we never went to church, my parents were not church going people but I remember on Easter Sunday, mainly the french catholic people ( I lived in Montreal, Quebec) walking to church and they all wore their Easter bonnets, I remember watching them walk by there was a big catholic church not too far from our house. I also remember we would be out skipping rope because it was finally spring and what fun we had or we would play hopscotch on the sidewalk, do you remember skipping to Cinderella dressed in yellow, went downstairs to meet her fellow ? lol Also roller skating with the skates that you had a key for, I remember getting a pair and on the very first day forgetting them in the school yard and of course when I ran back they were gone , I was crushed , my parents were not happy either
and no I didn't get another pair, it was a good lesson to me although I am still the same I leave my purse everywhere ![]()
Maybe Easter is a time for us to reflect, to love each other better each day, to reach out to people, life is so short, we need to be kinder to each other. Take the high road and let others be right (in their own minds
) It makes for a better world. Love you all and enjoy your Easter !!
