Yes long and hard! Boy you guys have dirty minds! My week was long and hard! Next week it will be long and hard also! now that' staying power!

Work busy as heck and even more disorganised than ever actually that is why we are busy because of the disorganisation. Sometimes it winds me up but at the end of the day what can you do? So I am trying to let things from work not bother me anymore although admittedly it is hard. I guess I am a dumb one and still cares that everything gets done right and the product goes out the door up to standards.

My mom had surgery yesterday and her whole health issue is pretty complcomlicated now I am starting to deal with the fact that she is on her last legs and maybe this surgery bought her a year or two at the most.

My health which is generally good and my weight which since February is down about 15 pounds. Monday is check up day. But a new issues did arise which has raised a couple of eye brows. I had a ultra sound down and it showed an enlarged spleen. So off for a cat scan. At present they have no idea as to why I had/have it. One doctor said it might have been I had some infection at the time of the ultrasound and things might be okay now so just double checking. The scan is September 6. So Mrs. Lincoln how was the play?

Geez I just reread what I have written and I sound like an old Jewish mom from Brooklyn! I guess sometimes the trial and tribulations of life get snagged together and you get this giant fur ball to cough up! This weekend simple, visit mom, then back home as I had started the renovations at home on the main floor. We scraped the popcorn ceiling off and I finished the drywall off on the ceilincielingey always put one coat less where they stipple and now we have a beautiful smooth ceiling throughout the main mainfloor while mywife repainted the main mainfloor after I put up new baseboards and trim. We tore out the carpet and the old beautiful peel and stick floor(the roman empire had marble, modern man will have peel and stick) and I have installed laminate flooring. Today I have to do the powder room and install a new throne. Doing the above renovations were good for my wife because I was so tired and parts of me hurt that I had no sex drive! she was able to get rest.... from my asking and begging LOL!!!!! I told her the one day that today I fell my age and boy it sucks!!!!!!!!

Now all this work through a hectic summer. From July 9Th to August 10Th I spent 2 1/2 weeks in the states on travel and work. I thought I was going to need a green card soon! The rest of the times I was renovating, now you know why I felt like a zombie. So we will talk more about the US trips especially the holiday in Myrtle Beach which was unbelievable until then take care and enjoy the weekend!!!

Does it ever end? Lets see... soccer then a pool party at one of the bosses house and then tomorrow off to Ottawa. All I need is a day or two to unwind. With work and a couple of other things I feel that I am so wound up I am ready to burst and that deep breathing stuff to relax does not work with this old fart!

I want back to Myrtle Beach I loved it there. I neeed a lottery win so I can retire and enjoy life. Oh well I can still dream!!!

Well sorry about not posting but things have been too eventful this summer!

Some good some bad and some well just indifferent. We were away for holidays for a week then after returning we started to redo the first floor and now my house looks like a war zone as the much delayed renovations are in full swing. Me I just got back from a week long business trip I am exhausted and in between this all some parts of my health have improved and now on the horizon there lurks a potential problem. Other than that it has been quiet!! LOL!!

Hopefully I will start to catch up with all my wonderful friends in the next couple of weeks. Geez even next weekend it is away to Ottawa for work. Oh my! This old fart some how keeps rolling!!! Take care and I will as promised start to catch up!!!
