We bought gorgeous fresh-off-the-tree peaches and plums here.

If you follow the signs it will take you to nearly all the wineries on the Niagara Peninsular (nearly fifty).

It's a very pleasant drive and beats the hell out of the madness on the Queen Elizabeth Toronto to Niagara highway.

Below is link to the Wine Route website, and it can tell you more than I ever can about the area and the wineries in it. The page I've listed is my favourite part of the route, through Grimsby:--

The town is always beautifully planted with seasonable flowers - in planters; in hanging baskets and in beds lining all the streets.

Property here is immaculate and expensive.

Nowadays it's a very quaint Olde Worlde English type of place absolutely full of tourist potential, and therefore absolutely nowhere to park.
